Nicki Minaj Reactivates Twitter Account Nine Days After Deleting It

It doesn't take long for Nicki Minaj to make her return to Twitter. The "Starships" raptress has reactivated her account around nine days after she furiously deleted it on April 15 following disagreement with some followers. While she has yet to tweet anything, more than 1 million users have been back following her again at the time of publication.

The 29-year-old pulled the plug on her account on the social networking site shortly after blocking fan site NickiDaily.com for posting songs from "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded" ahead of its April 3 release in the United States. Her final tweet, at the time, read, "Like seriously, its but so much a person can take. Good f**king bye."

When asked about her abrupt exit during an interview on BBC's "Graham Norton Show", Minaj explained, "A voice in my head told me to delete my Twitter and that's what I did. I had 11 million followers and I hope they will wait for me." She added, "I reply all the time and get to know them by name and I have a really personal bond with them ...not all 11 million, but at least 10 of them a day."

In another interview, the "Super Bass" femcee denied the leaking of her music triggered her decision to delete her account. "Let's set the record straight because a lot of times I don't speak on things, but I don't want people to think that's why I deleted my Twitter," she told U.K.'s Capital FM. "I just needed a moment to myself. Because some page posted things about me - I mean, I've read horrible things about myself. I wouldn't delete my Twitter over that."
