Chris Klein on 'American Reunion' Dance-Off: It Was Me With Some Serious Help

In a promo interview for his new movie "American Reunion", Chris Klein talked about a dance-off scene he filmed for the movie. The actor said that he did the dancing himself, but he had to go through some serious preparation to make sure he busted a good move.

"That was me. Not without some serious help," Klein told OnTheRedcarpet. The actor who plays Chris "Oz" Ostreicher in the movie continued, "I know that you couldn't tell, but I wasn't born a hip hop dancer. I made myself into this incredible dancing machine."

"They pitch me the idea, they said, 'Hey, man, we think Oz is on a dance-off show'," he recalled. "And I said, 'Okay! What does that mean?' If we're going to do a dance-off show, we need to do a dance-off show because, listen, dance-off shows are incredibly popular."

"We don't want to mock it, we want to celebrate it," he added. "So I gave it my best homage here, for Oz. I get beat by Gilbert Gottfried, you believe that?"

The "American Reunion" brings back the hilarious gang from "American Pie" to East Great Falls for their high-school reunion. In one long-overdue weekend at the get-together, they will discover what has changed, who hasn't and that time and distance can't break the bonds of friendship. Among those who reprise their roles are Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan and Thomas Ian Nicholas.
