Lindsay Lohan to Take Appropriate Action If Her Accuser Made False Police Report

Lindsay Lohan isn't staying quiet over recent accusation that she pushed and shoved a woman during an alleged nightclub altercation. According to TMZ, the 25-year-old starlet along with her lawyer Shawn Holley will ask detectives at West Hollywood Sheriff's substation to investigate her accuser.

In a statement to TMZ, Holley said that Lohan, who will portray Elizabeth Taylor in "Liz & Dick", could even file a lawsuit against the woman. "If it's true that someone made false accusations against Ms. Lohan and reported those false claims to police, we will take appropriate action," so claimed the attorney, "which includes seeking the prosecution of that individual."

An incident report has been filed against Lohan as a woman accused the actress of battery following an altercation on Thursday, April 5 night. The woman allegedly claimed that the "Mean Girls" star began pushing and shoving her after the actress grew upset as the woman talked to a male friend of hers.

Lohan herself, according to the gossip site, was at home at the time of the incident. It was said that the older sister of Ali Lohan was catching up on the Showtime series, "Homeland". Meanwhile, Sgt. Ed Hummel of the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department told the Daily News Sunday that the alleged incident is being investigated as a "suspicious circumstance."
